Things that stop working day

Today I offered to mow the lawn, all by my self (!) Erik got the lawnmower and gave me the tour of how it works, then he went to work. One minute later... it stops, I get it to start again but a few seconds later it stops... and I can't get it to start. Call Erik, of course he gets it to start and he goes back to work. I take over and just as Erik probably entered work again the mower stops.

This is what happens everytime I try to do something by myself, it's typical. Eventually we got the adjustments right and I acctually mowed the whole law but anyway...

Then later on in the afternoon I was going to pay our bills - the highlight of my month - just as I was loging in to our bank, internet stoped working. Maybe it was a sign that I should go do something fun with the money instead, or so I thougt but the it restarted it self and I got them payed... that may be a good thing after all.

Have I told you before that I have the most wonderful husband? Yeah I think so.
Above our bed their's a little window and last night as I was going to bed I spoted the grosest spider there. Can't go to bed knowing that big thing is out there planing his nightly entrence to my bedroom. So... maybe you can guess what happened next...
Wonderful husband went out to kill it, armed with a paper towel (for my sake, he is man enough to take out the enemy with his bare hands but his wife doesn't let him). And yes it was outside the window, but they can get in through the smallest spaces and I'm not taking any chances.

Thank you honey!! Hm...maybe I'll grant your wish about having pizza for dinner tonight ;)

This weekend me and Maria have been away at our church communions congress as representatives from our parish. It has been an intens couple of days, lots and lots of concentrated listening and trying to understand everyhing in this new enviroment, but also it has been lots of fun. We counted according to the rules that we could have sent a total of 15(!) delegates to the congress this year and still it was only us. In practice we could of had 15 votes opposed to the two we represented. If you ask me that's just madness! Two years from now when the next congress is held we will definitely try to get more people involved. It acctually is quite fun and really interesting.

When I came home after three days, totally exhausted, I found that my wondeful husband had cleaned the entire house. Clearly I already think that he is the greatest husband no matter what, but this makes him if possible even greater. Thank you honey!

I'm sorry for the recent inactivity. Maybe it's spring, maybe I'm busy, maybe it's the lack of inspiration. But the last one is not that true though 'cause I have ideas, just haven't tranformed them into words yet.

Notice me getting lazy since I'm only writing in english, takes half the time and is double easy. =)

I hate white shoes!

I have absolutely no idea why I almost every year buy a pair of white shoes. I always manage to get stepped on or I drive with them and get something black car related on them, like today. Then i stand there at the sink, furiously washing them for like the millionth time! Promising that I'll never be that stupid again...

...they do look nice though, I might get a new pair when these give up on me...

A glimpse of love

Today I caught a glimpse of just how perfect I am in the eyes of God. That I truley am loved unconditionally. Tomorrow it will be long forgotten I'm sure, but today is a good day!

Nu är snön nästan helt borta men för några dagar sedan hittade jag denna "isbjörn", kan du se den? =)

The snow is almost all gone now but a couple of days ago I found this "polar bear", can you see it? =)

Running like the wind

Det kanske är någon som undrar hur det går med mina springar planer, (mer om det HÄR). Då kan jag upplysa er om att jag nu är uppe i sammanlagt 5 minuters löpning på en halvtime totalt. Jag har gjort så här att jag spritt ut en minuts löpning i taget jämt över den halvtimmen jag är ute och går, då hinner man inte bli så anfådd så man faller ihop vilket kan vara bra om man vill komma hem. =P

Nästa pass som väntar då tänker jag börja köra 2 minuters löpning i ett sträck så då blir det bara tre löpsträckor, få se hur det går. Igår när jag var ute så blåste det så hårt att jag nästan som blev kvävd av för mycket luft, hur nu det kan gå ihop.

A while ago I wrote about my ambition to start running. Now I have acctually started and I'm now up to a total of 5 minutes of running, not all at once though but one minute at a time on a 30 minute walk.

När jag vaknade imorse hade nacken och delar av ryggen låst sig på ett klurigt sätt, därför kommer jag inte tillbringa så värst mycket tid framför datorn. Jag har ett inlägg på gång dock och det kommer upp så fort det bara går. =)

Up Up, And Away!

Har du sett filmen "Upp"? Inte..? Men gör det då!

Jag vet att jag ligger lite efter vad gäller film tittning och delvis så får jag nog revidera lite av det jag skrev här om den animerade filmens vara eller kanske snarare icke vara. Vi såg på "Upp" här i måndags kväll, jag, Erik och Karin. Vilken fantastisk film med ett djup och en mening som man sällan ser idag. Inte nog med det så var tempot nedskruvat väsentligt och inte alls så stressat som det kan vara i film idag. Gôtt! Jag har nog aldrig gråtit och skrattat så mycket på samma gång. Såg t.o.m. filmen en gång till innan jag var tvungen att lämna tillbaka den. =)

We saw this movie the other night, me, Erik and his sister Karin. What an awesome movie! I don't think I've ever cried and laughed so much at the same time. All the funny little details and the seriousness (maybe that's not a word, I know). I even watched it one more time before I had to return it to the video store. =)

Godis är aldrig så gott efteråt som man tror att det ska vara innan man vräker i sig det. Även om det är dragé ägg... Men är det påsk så är det. Var det värt det, det är frågan..?
